Achievements

Conducted assessments at 14 hospitals to determine their oxygen needs and the current state of the medical gas system infrastructure required for the installation of liquid oxygen tanks. EpiC also reviewed oxygen ecosystem processes for continuous improvement.

The construction of liquid oxygen tank bases commenced at two health facilities in November 2024.

Trained 68 Ministry of Health personnel from 24 hospitals and 12 provincial medical stores involved in oxygen system management. This training built local capacity for managing the medical oxygen ecosystem.

Quantified the national demand for oxygen to guide planning for procurement. This extensive data analysis enabled EpiC to understand and map the regional liquid oxygen delivery routes that would be most cost effective for suppliers.
