In 2023, EpiC launched Key Population Electronic Logbook (KP eLog) in with Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control. It aims to improve HIV data quality for prevention and testing services and link data between community-based interventions for key populations and facility-based services.

Reflections from the 2022 mpox outbreak and the potential impact on future epidemic preparedness and response
EpiC has been involved in the global response to mpox since June 2022. EpiC’s global footprint, along with its ability to provide technical assistance, allowed for rapid response with effective tools, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation. In August 2022, the project began offering technical assistance to partner governments to accelerate the emergency response to mpox.

EpiC Botswana launches e-lockers to promote access to antiretroviral treatment
Botswana was recently recognized at the International AIDS Conference for its achievement in reaching HIV epidemic control after surpassing the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) 95-95-95 targets to reach 95-98-98 in July 2022. These results show tremendous progress toward achieving control of the HIV epidemic and demonstrate the extraordinary impact of the national HIV response. New innovations such as decentralized drug distribution (DDD) position Botswana to eliminate HIV as a public health threat in the next decade.
