To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the USAID- and PEPFAR-supported Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project hosted a webinar to reflect on the agency’s support of HIV programming for key populations (KPs) over those 20 years. Panelists from civil society organizations, KP-led organizations, U.S. Department of State, World Health Organization, and EpiC discussed how the focus on KPs in PEPFAR programs has led to great gains toward epidemic control and what is still needed to achieve the ambitious 2030 goals.
