On June 3rd, the USAID- and PEPFAR-supported EpiC project hosted a webinar in a series on topics related to HIV prevention, care, and treatment for key populations—sex workers, men who have sex with men, transgender people, and people who inject drugs.
 
Going Online is a vision and framework developed by FHI 360 for how HIV programs can use online and mobile platforms to accelerate progress toward epidemic control. The vision helps programs assist populations who face the greatest HIV risks to make connections to life-affirming and lifesaving services in an increasingly connected world.
 
Almost all HIV programs are either beginning to use or are increasingly relying on virtual connections to support activities that range from prevention messaging and risk assessment to service booking and provision. The COVID-19 pandemic has further solidified the role of virtual platforms in ensuring access to HIV services.
 
This webinar explores how Going Online approaches are evolving to advance differentiated service delivery models that better meet the needs and preferences of clients and highlight some of the latest innovations in virtual HIV program approaches.
